You are Lucas: a runaway teen in New York City’s Union Square, trying to make it to the hospital— with a dead phone and no money —before your father dies from cancer. This is a story about losing the fear to ask others for help, and the dangers of going it alone.

Every choice you make matters and changes the story and ending, so multiple playthroughs are encouraged!

you did so well on this.

Hi there! Fantastic game. I’m with Devoke Studio and we’re interested in your game. Do you have an email address we could contact you on? Thanks, Sarah :)

Feel free to contact me here: vincenzoanastasia@yahoo.com

Thanks for reaching out, Sarah!

Wonderful, thank you so much - there’s an email waiting for you when you have a moment.

Thank you for taking the time to create such a brilliant game Vincenzo, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

i know for a fact that there are alternate endings, but i feel like i got the best endings on my tries, and i just physically cannot put lucas through anymore pain than he must already be in.  no being mean to the make-believe people for money.  lucas gets to be good and have a nice goodbye.

This comment has truly made all the effort put into this game worth it. I'm so happy you were invested that I really don't mind you missing the other endings. You got the one(s) you deserved :-)

I couldn't finish I was at the part where his dad wakes up and I just couldn't I started crying.

I'm both happy and sad that you were immersed in the experience so deeply. I do hope you get to see how it ends whenever you have the strength to finish :-) Thank you dearly for playing.

the game seems to cut off unexpectedly because the continue button is out of frame, zooming out (ctrl -) reveals the text and you can continue

thank you for pointing this out! i will be sure to keep this bug out of the next game. i hope it didn't take too much away from your play-through and you still enjoyed your experience :-)

Very great game, although I got stuck on the conversation with Luke and his dad, because there was no way of continuing.

others seem to have had the continue button cut-off as well. i will fix this, however a way around this for now is to download and play, or as someone else discovered, by zooming out ( ctrl - ) until you can see the continue button.

i appreciate you taking the time to play, nonetheless :-)

Nice game. I ran into a bug and couldn't finish it though.

SPOILER

.

.
I took the bus, sat in the middle, then went straight to Lucas's dad. The game cut off in the middle of the conversation.

playing in the browser, i see others have had the continue button cut-off as well. i understand the mistake for next time / an update, however a way around this for now is to download and play, or as someone else discovered, by zooming out ( ctrl - ) until you can see the continue button.

thank you for taking the time to play :-)

Interesting concept. I did one playthrough but I would have liked if there was a way to advance text.

you are very right on that, i will heed this advice!

very cool  :)

thank you :-)
